Chouchou – the ethereal and the elevated

6 Apr

I uploaded these a few days ago, but I’d like to share them here as well. I used Torley’s Windlight settings and the Chouchou HUD to achieve these points of view. I hope you enjoy exploring this peaceful space as much as I did.

the cage, the escape (Chouchou)
“To escape utterly from others’ anchors and holds!
To drive free! to love free! to dash reckless and dangerous!
To court destruction with taunts, with invitations!
To ascend, to leap to the heavens of the love indicated to me!”
-“One Hour to Madness and Joy” by Walt Whitman

taken away (Chouchou)
“Everyone is running around saying “change change change” but on the other hand there is a curious sense in which things have become eerily dreamlike and still, while we just teeter on the edge of the end of history…”
-Terence McKenna

the bright exploration (Chouchou)
“We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time. ”
-“The Four Quartets” by T.S. Eliot

the part of me that knows (Chouchou)
“I have to remind myself that some birds aren’t meant to be caged. Their feathers are just too bright and when they fly away, the part of you that knows it was a sin to lock them up does rejoice. But still, the place you live in is that much more drab and empty that they’re gone.”
-“The Shawshank Redemption”

sunsets and sand flats (Chouchou)
“The more tranquil a man becomes, the greater is his success, his influence, his power for good. Calmness of mind is one of the beautiful jewels of wisdom.”
– James Allen
