Sometimes I get a little to much “pretty” in my system at one time … and this is what happens.
Well, it’s a short word that looks kinda rad behind a woman in a short skirt.
And it’s no wonder. Today is Friday, and Friday’s color is PINK, bitches. With capital letters. Watch out! I’m going into more detail than usual today, so strap in!
I’m workin’ this fabulous short hair from W&Y. Why haven’t I shopped there since 2008? I bought 4 spectacular styles there today even after I said I wasn’t going to spend much money. You get 4 colors to a pack, and each pack costs L$200, so it isn’t unreasonable.
I decided to run with the pink theme today because of this 50 Linden Friday skin from Plastik. This is a fun, affordable preview of the texturing and shading you’ll see in the new line releasing soon!
And when I go pink, I reach for items from shops like Emery that specialize in blazing hot color palettes and fun designs. Hello, side knot!
I’d show you a better view of these fabulous sunglasses, but I didn’t want to hide the eye makeup. I’m vain. They’re from the fantastic eye wear and headphones creator koguma Kumaki. His shop Kumaki Glasses Style was such a pleasant surprise! There are a lot of colors and texture options built into every pair, and the styles range from classic and conservative to futuristic and slick.
I’ve been waiting to blog the Gos Burlesque boots ever since Gospel Voom dropped them on me upon their release. I always have to find the perfect outfit, and something a bit more edgy and bright is ideal for these bold beauties. The laces and panels are color-change (shown here in white); the resizing is done via menu and is comprehensive and easy to understand.
Speaking of “It’s about time!” This collar by SiSSi and feather belt from Shade Throne have been practically banging on my inventory window in order to be featured. The collar is my current favorite and I wear it all the time! I tinted it darker to go with the outfit, and you’ll also be glad it’s modifiable to make each ring closely fit the contours of your neck. Sexy, sexy. You know me and my collars ;).
The feather belt is tricky to fit, but holy hell is it worth it. I have quite the ass, so I did a bit of nudging and stretching and I happen to like how it sits on my body and flutters around my thighs. God, I get tingly just imagining owning this in real life.

I am so amped about this outfit! It’s like, totally tubular! I was refusing to buy this AOHARU top on principal (the principal that all girls who tied their button downs were bimbettes and we should hit them with our ‘sneaks). But then I saw it in this boss plaid and ate my words!
Of course to be a little bit 80s, you need a lot of hair! This super-simple style from Nylon Outfitters made my day! You don’t need 45 sculpts to look like a commercial for Aquanet. And for feckssake, it’s called Janet.

I absolutely adore inclement weather in Second Life. Storms charm me right out of my socks. But my very favorite thing in SL might be sunshine. My choice Windlight setting is brilliant and crisp; the sims that charm me the most have lush landscapes with sun rays cutting through the leaves and glowing in the grass; and my dream home has huge windows with plenty of light streaming in through the glass.
Take this luscious skybox by Orange Creations. It was the perfect background for my photographs because of its dazzling colors, detailed rendering, and especially the natural light coming in through the windows.
I wanted to find a fun outfit to wear with these brand new (and freakin awesome!) glasses by Gos. Gospel Voom continually brings out the highest quality sculpts, scripting, and baked textures in his work. I’ve tinted mine chrome and left the lenses clear, but there are multiple built-in options including a ‘wear on head’ position which I’ve come to hope for in all good sunglasses. You can even have your initials appear on the temple to “brand them” as your own. I only wish more colors came standard, but you can buy extra tinting options for a reasonable fee at the store.
Oh yeah, my outfit! Holy shit I love Emery. I had a little shopping spree (one of many I’ve had there!) and picked up this fantastic skirt and the leotard top that makes me feel like a member of an ’80s gymnastics team. Maybe I should be doing the splits?
One of my favorite current fashion trends is the use of military themes in jackets and tops. It makes a chick feel more tailored, badass, and creative. I lucked out when cocoro Lemon of COCO sent me her new Military Cardigan. To be honest, it took me two full days to come up with the right outfit to match it! I hope to get a bit more out-of-the-box with colors and combinations as time goes on; I really wanted to keep the black and gold theme this time.
I’m keeping it fun with my favorite hairstyle from Exile, one of the rockin’ dresses from Emery, my go-to Maitreya boots, and some super fun torn stockings from Kitties Lair; that store packs a few surprises for the fashionista.
I think I’m ready to go to the club. Who’s coming?
