I decided to take part in one of these “tagged” memes on flickr. You answer some questions about yourself and then tag the people you want to answer them after you. Cerrie Janus tagged me a few months ago, and I’m finally reciprocating :). Don’t worry, I didn’t tag you. 😉

There I am: little miss Themapants! It’s not often I share so much of my real life on this blog. That’s pretty refreshing, to be honest 🙂
Outfit Details Below:
I’ve been so incredibly impressed by LeLutka‘s designs this season. It’s so much fun to wear items with top quality sculpts and baked textures that provide a rich, life-like impression–as if I could reach through my screen and know exactly what that fabric would feel like.
I suppose the irony of all this praise is that I decided to play with my photos so that they look smudged and blurred as if taken with a bad lens. Tee hee.
Of course this blog entry, like most of my entries, isn’t about just one brand. Notice the fantastic, flattering jacket from Friday, and my favorite item from Luck Inc that I used as a top. I also have been neglecting this super hair from Kyoot that could be perfected with a texture-change headband. And, as you probably know by now, one of my favorite jewelry shops for necklaces is Yummy.
Blurry Outfit Details:
One of my favorite places to take my blog photos is right in my own home. I imagine myself getting ready for the day and snapping some photos right before jetting out the door to work.
I’ve been looking for these specific trousers ever since I saw them months ago on the fashion feeds. I just couldn’t remember who made them. Lo and behold, they were at LeLutka all along! In world you can see the breaks between the prims and pants layer a bit more, but they’re probably the best wide-legged pants I’ve found yet.
I’m not quite sure about the blonde shades from 69 as they seem quite yellow, but I’ll live with them because the style is so gorgeous! The braid trend in fashion right now is right up my “I wish I could do that to my own hair” alley.
I’m constantly in awe of the artistic skills of Roslin Petion, creator of 5th & Oxford. This top is part of a sexy little slip you’d normally wear in the bedroom, but despite taking pictures in my bedroom, I prefer to integrate lingerie and the like into my everyday outfits.
I absolutely adore inclement weather in Second Life. Storms charm me right out of my socks. But my very favorite thing in SL might be sunshine. My choice Windlight setting is brilliant and crisp; the sims that charm me the most have lush landscapes with sun rays cutting through the leaves and glowing in the grass; and my dream home has huge windows with plenty of light streaming in through the glass.
Take this luscious skybox by Orange Creations. It was the perfect background for my photographs because of its dazzling colors, detailed rendering, and especially the natural light coming in through the windows.
I wanted to find a fun outfit to wear with these brand new (and freakin awesome!) glasses by Gos. Gospel Voom continually brings out the highest quality sculpts, scripting, and baked textures in his work. I’ve tinted mine chrome and left the lenses clear, but there are multiple built-in options including a ‘wear on head’ position which I’ve come to hope for in all good sunglasses. You can even have your initials appear on the temple to “brand them” as your own. I only wish more colors came standard, but you can buy extra tinting options for a reasonable fee at the store.
Oh yeah, my outfit! Holy shit I love Emery. I had a little shopping spree (one of many I’ve had there!) and picked up this fantastic skirt and the leotard top that makes me feel like a member of an ’80s gymnastics team. Maybe I should be doing the splits?
I’m addicted to brilliant, sunny rooms. I find that a pale canvas bests sets off even the most subtle colors and textures. In real life, I work in the lower level of our building (aka “the Dungeon”). With no windows or natural light around me all day, I take what cheerful bits of daylight I can—even in SL. Ah, the magic of Windlight.
